Shutdown Day

Tomorrow has been dubbed Global Shutdown Day where you try to not use your computer for an entire day. The fact that this is on Saturday makes it much easier to handle, but it looks like thousands still can't do it from the numbers on the site. Tell them you can or can't over at shutdownday.org (http://www.shutdownday.org/)

I'm going to be at a wedding all day tomorrow, so I actually selected "I can".

What's the purpose of Global Shutdown Day?

I think it's more or less to challenge you to go without your computer for a day.
