I accidentally grew some purple bell peppers one year. Have never seen them again. They were wonderful.
What can I still plant?

okra, maters,....I have a little sheet somewhere's that tells me, but I can't put my hands on it right now.
Man, my garden is lookin' nice. I'mma have enough squash to feed the burg out of only about 5 plants....that stuff is makin' hand over fist. My okra is about 6 inches high now. I planted 3 rows of that stuff and one row didn't come up...I don't know why, it just didn't come up...My corn is about chest high now. My peppers are making. My egg plant is making. My maters and making really well. I just planted a cantelope........we shall see about it. I seven dusted everything last night. Those little aphid things were starting to eat up my egg plants and stuff.

My organic tomato garden is doing well. 9 Early Girl plants are about 2 ft' tall and are loaded with green tomatoes.

It's started.
Folks droppin' by for no particular reason & then as they leave, Oh, mind if I grab a couple of those tomatoes? Maybe a squash or two?
That's part of the fun of gardening though, giving away your excess produce.

I don't mind. I'd rather have someone eat them rather than spoil cause I've got too much.

Honeyb just went out to the garden to pick tomatoes. She's wearing rubber boots because she claims a foot long blue lizard attacked her yesterday.

I keep finding snakes in my garden. A Texas garter snake stayed in there for a few days then left. A few days later a king snake was hiding in there.
I've got a lot of bottom rot in my garden. I've put treatment on it but it may not have had time yet.

I tell you what, that dry spell wasn't good for anyone....now that it's raining I'm afraid the fungus's are gonna go nuts.

Actually the tomatoes are good. I've had no problems out of them and have been loving eating them. :-D
It's my zucchini and squash that's having a time with the fungus. I put some stuff on it several days ago, not quite a week. I'll give it another week before I try more stuff.
