What do you think? Personally, this all reminds me of Nick "I'm not going to Alabama" Saban.

I think this situation is a little different, Virgo, in that Nick wanted to get out of the NFL. Florida is the creme de la creme of college sports right now, and I would be surprised to see him take this job. However, Rick Pitino is Donovan's mentor and he may want to follow in "daddy's" footsteps, so your intuition may be true.

There's no way. I can't think of anybody that would want to coach at UK and take on the stigma that has been there since Pitino left. Donovan is staying at Florida.

I wonder how many of Florida's starting five will declare for the NBA draft?

To keep the same starting five for two championship seasons is phenomenal--actually unprecedented.

I doubt Florida has the makings of a 1960s/1970s UCLA dynasty because the lure of the NBA is much greater today, but to repeat as national champions is a pretty impressive feat.

If I were Donovan, I'd stay at Florida, even if the starting five doesn't remain intact for an attempt at a three-peat*.

*Trivia time: Who has trademarked the word "three-peat?"

Answer: Pat Riley, legendary NBA championship coach, who played his college basketball at...the University of Kentucky.
