Ok, I downloaded Firefox and it worked, even though I don't know anything about Firefox.

Set up tabs to open with a middle mouse button click. You'll use that probably half the time you're browsing.

Is the middle mouse button the thing that rolls the pages up and down? :smt118 Just wanted to confirm since I'm currently downloading (via dial-up) Firefox.

Now that I've downloaded Firefox, I can't see how to open a new tab. What's the trick? I'm on a laptop, so I don't have a mouse. ;)

ah ha!! Got it!! :) Don't really understand why the other way didn't work. But I'm sold guys. I've downloaded Firefox and Seller & I may have to start a new thread just to ask questions. Like - Where did my favorites go? I don't see a place that had my favorites.

When that window opens select "import" then select "from Internet Explorer" or something to that effect. All you IE bookmarks will then show up in Firefox. It's a lot easier to arrange them in FF, though.

Thanks, Wilebill. I knew how to do that. ;) My thing is, what if I just want to open a new tab without clicking on a link. For instance, I want to open a new tab and type in a web address. ? I see I can right click beside the other tabs and click "Open new tab", but is that the easiest way?
