My daughter just informed me that her M-I-L will be having vein bypass surgery in her leg. This will be her 8th procedure. She is in dire need of prayer.

I have just talked to Amanda....she said they have taken BB back and will start right about 9 am....she's a bit rattled, as expected by fine...said it should be done by 9:45...said she liked the dr. they spoke with doing the procedure and now is the time to be thinking and praying for them.....she'll call back later......prayers, hugs and thoughts for Amanda and BB

Just heard from Amanda.......ALL is done and well!!!..Whoo Hoo...The dr. said BB has a little blockage but nothing to take action on...just make a little life-style changes and BB is good to go!!!!!! Thanks guys!!!

Please add my friend Debbie in on prayer list as well as Paula. Debbie is having a biopsy at about 3 today and Paula had a hysterectomy 2 weeks ago and next week starts chemo. I am really confused that the docs say, yes, we removed the cancer but lets do preventive chemo & radiation treatments. Why? Sounds to me like everyone should be doing chemo if it is just for preventive measures. I myself will not do this, if you tell me you got it all, then that should be enough. I have been seeing on the news a lot about the over use of chemo and radiation and have to wonder if this is all a part of the over use. Pray for my friends please.

Prayer works, no doubt about it!!! BB is on the road to a healthier lifestyle and we hope, we with God's blessing, that we will have many many years before another visit like yesterdays. I'll admit, rattled was an understatement on how I was feeling yesterday - more like freaked out and crying like a baby. She was so warm and supportive and once I got off the phone with her - I felt a whole lot more positive. Thanks for the pep-talk Oldlady, I really needed that friendly ear yesterday. Oh, and thanks for keeping everyone updated.

I think a prayer of thanksgiving is due to our God for being so good to have let Noway come out with as few injuries as he did. I am so thankful that his accident was not worse than it was, I am thankful that BB did not need more surgery and can lead a good, healthy life. I am thankful that Dollfus' heart is OK. Son and buddies got back to Calcutta and working back at Mother's House, didn't hear from him to this morning could actually kinda hear him through the laptop, Thank you Lord for your many miracles. Pray for their health, safety and poor people of India. Son said you can't believe or describe how poor these people are. Pray for their strength in Christ and safe being. Son also said it was good to get some fresh air, He won't say much but I think this is hard on him even though he has fun everywhere He goes.

Hey guys....I need a special prayer said for my grandfather....he has recently become ill and is going down fast....He is in the VA hospital in Jackson but hoping to get him closer to home....They inserted a feeding tube into his stomach today and are saying he's "critical" .... It's like pulling teeth to get info right now, but I do know the only way to help him now is prayer. Thanks in advance to all of you. This man is like a daddy to me because my grandparents raised me.

After a long illness, my step mother passed away last night.

My siblings (all 9 of them) are in Detroit and working out details for the memorial service.

Please pray especially for them.

I am just very heavy today.

I'm trying to sort out whether to go up. It is complicated. Please pray for wisdom in that regard.

Y'all please pray for DamnYank. He won't ask but I will. He is having surgery on Monday and he and his family needs our prayers for them. He will be at Forrest General very early in the a.m. Monday. I hesitate to post this here because I don't believe and I don't pray. I do, though, believe that the universe senses our intentions and works to manifest them in our lives. Those that I'm asking your consideration for do believe. That said...

Please pray or think good thoughts or send good vibes out there into the world or whatever for my best friend's mother-in-law Meta, their family, and for my best friend Shan. Meta was diagnosed with breast cancer three years ago. Everything was fine until March of this year when they learned that the cancer was back and had spread to her bones. Her oncologist says it's one of the most aggressive cancers he's ever seen.

The prognosis on Sunday was that the best case scenario would be the end of the summer...if Meta could resume chemo. She cannot. She will hopefully be released from the hospital today and is going home to hospice.

This is terribly painful to Shan. When we were 18, her mother (and the woman I credit with saving my life) succumbed to metastatic breast cancer...the same thing that is killing Meta. Shan is losing her mother...again. Her faith is strong, but she is shaken and very angry. It's extremely difficult to watch her go through this...again...because she is the closest thing in this world that I have to a sister. Once almost killed her, and I'm very worried for her in the coming weeks.

I hope for peace and comfort and respite for them all. If you could do the same, I'd be grateful.

It is heartbreaking to see a loved one go through it all, but with God's love and blessings both Meta and Shan will make it through whatever is to come. Sunshine, this is a sad time for grandpas family. In a spiritual/religious way, this is Gods way of trying to give y'all time to cope. I know it is hard to watch this happening as I have been there with both parents and grandparents too. God IS there wether the person believes it or not. He is and will give us each the strength to cope with all. Prayers being said for you and your family.

My mother refused any treatments of any kind and stayed on this earth as long as they said she would have when they were trying to talk her into treatments.
