Please say a prayer for my Mother, she is having a kidney removed this afternoon. She has been in ICU for a week now and the Dr says she is strong as she is going to get and it is time to do the surgery. Just pray that the Good Lord will keep her strong and be with her through the surgery. Also anyone who can give blood in her name that would be a great help. She has had to have tons of blood so far and is expected to have more through the surgery process. Just go to the United Blood Services and give in the name of Rosemary Brown

I don't know if Virginia Ratliff has been placed on this thread yet or not.
She is an 83 year old lady, from Brookhaven, MS who has been missing since Feb 28.
Here's a link to the story. I have not been able to find an update, and I assume she is still missing. If anyone hears that she has been located, please post a thread.

Just an update... Lexi is in doggie Heaven now. Thanks for the prayers. At least she is in peace now.... and she was able to take her final breath with her head in my lap & arms wrapped around my leg.

(((Lips))) So sorry...I don't know you, I'm new here, but I can tell how much you loved your Lexi....We have a Shadow, and he's my last child. They become so much a part of our lives, don't they? I believe dogs can come back as guardian angels...She can watch over you like you watched over her.

Okay, it's me again, and this time I'm asking for me. As y'all know, I asked for prayer for my dad a little while back. I asked because they did x-rays on his back and they think he may have cancer. They'll know more probably this coming week. That was either the Wed before last or the Thurs before last. This past Monday I woke up with the Bell's Palsy and this past Wednesday I went back to work from lunch to find out I'm being laid off. I feel like I am at the end of my proverbial rope. I went and put out resumes today (all over the place, and hit up the WIN Job Center). I'm so scared and nervous and uncertain. It's so easy to just say I'm just putting my faith in God and to be patient and see what he has planned for my life, but actually letting him take over the reigns is what's the hardest. Please pray for me and my family. I think I'm going to need it.

:grouphug: My babysmomma, I will pray for you also. It is so easy to say give it to God, but so hard to truly do so. I do understand this too. It is easier to say "One day at a time" and ask God to help us everyday. He will see us through what needs to be gotten through. Please let us know how you and your daddy are. I always say that things happen for a reason. We may not understand the reasoning at the time but lateron the reason may be obvious. Good luck to you.
Please everyone, pray for the Langley family who were involved in the wreck in Petal Thursday night. The mother was killed and her daughter Sissy (Deborah) is in ICU. They are a very nice quiet family and I ask for your prayers for them.

Pray for me that the Dr. gets inside of me and finds out he can fix it all. He said he would look but not to get my hopes up because it has never happened before to where it helped anyone. I have surgery next Tuesday and need lots of prayers please.

I haven't heard of that story...breaks my heart. I can't imagine how scared she may be and how heartbroken her husband must be. God be with her. I pray she returns home safely.

I know everyone has opinions and anger over the accidents that have happened to those who live here...and work here. Please remember those who are left behind are the ones that are hurting the most....I'm glad there is this thread to remind us there are so many people who stand in need of prayer.

I believe tomorrow is "next Tuesday" for XC9's surgery. I am sure everyone will join me in an extra prayer for the best possible outcome for her. Hang in there girl, we all love you and so does God!

This seems a little selfish, but I have learned to be selfish in prayer sometimes. I knew one of men who died in the accident Friday. The loss of this young man brought up some old grief over the loss of my own son 13 years ago. Please pray that I can get past my own grief to be there for my friends during this time of loss.

Thank you so much Damnyank. Tomorrow is my surgery, I really don't feel good about it but whatever Gods plans are for me, his will shall be done. I thank each and every one of you for your prayers.
Hippichic, you are in my prayers as well. God will be with you and give you the strength to help your friends familys through this too. I DO understand how easy it is to believe this for other people while wondering why my faith is so shakeable when it comes to me. I guess that is why God gave us emotions.
DamnYank, your daughter is a friend of mine, as well as you and the Mrs. and not only do I give her permission to keep you and the Mrs. informed on me, tell her I demand it-here it is in writing half-a$$-yank-listen to your daddy. If anything should happen, I will count on you to let my computer family know.

Construction accidents, train wrecks, missing people, medical procedures, anger, bitterness, chaos...
I'm so glad that we have a Father who hears and knows what we need before we even utter it....Thank you to all the people on this thread who are believers and who pray for those in need...He hears them all, you know!

My aunt will be going in today for a chemo treatment. She's been fighting cancer for 2 years and 5 months now. They will be finding out today if it has spread any more since they last tested. Please pray for the doctors that they will be filled with wisdom, and for our family that God will provide comfort and healing. Thanks.

I have not and really did not expect to hear anything today, but I will see XC9's brother at the bowling center tomorrow (Wed) night - provided he bowls. I have not seen her sister in a month or more as she no longer bowls on Wed.

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR PRAYERS! I had surgery today on one stent, while doing this Dr. Hatten found a major problem. It is fixable-thank you God, St. Rita (saint of impossible causes) and my MH family. Prayers were answered by the doc finding this problem. I do not have an artery running into my butt and down my hip. This is where the pain and discoloring is coming from. He will be able to make me an artery (plastic) and run it from a main artery into my butt. If he had not of found this, I would have had to have amputations of my legs in the near future because without arteries there is no blood flow from that point down. Thanks to each and every one of y'all for your prayers and I will be asking again when he schedules my next surgery in April. I went in at 7;30 this morn and got home at 10:00 tonight. Thanks again all and Lips, you and your family are certainly in my prayers and I will pray to St. Rita for your aunt and of course all prayers are going through our lord Jesus Christ. I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers!!! My dad had a bone scan done on thursday and then yesterday the doctors called and told him that he does NOT have cancer! I just want to thank you all so much for the prayers!!
Gods will shall always be done wether we understand why or not. He is awesome and knows what is right.

Tomorrow (actually, today . .) at 5 a.m. I'll be up and preparing to leave for St. Charles Parish, Louisiana. My son has reached a crossroads in his life. I don't what, if anything I can do to rescue him, or even if that's my task.

Ok, Betsy is done with surgery and everything went well and as expected, except .... she didn't plan on hurting as much as she does now. Hopefully, they will give her something to knock her out for a couple of days so she can get on with the recovery process. She thanks everyone again for the well wishes and looks forward to being back online soon.

I just wanted to thank God today for so many things. He's given me great Friends,he's been looking over me in my darkest hours. I have been going through some rough times and because of the Gift of Friendship and the Love of God I feel Renewed. Mh has been so helpful to me. Betsy hope you get better.

Just returned from the hospital where Betsy seems to be feeling a little better today, but still in quite a bit of pain .... thank God for those little buttons attached to the IV that you can push for a hit of relief. No talk yet about when she might be released. She did ask me to convey her thanks to all for your continued support and prayers.

Thank ya'll for all the prayers about my son. He's with us now, and having an extremely difficult time. Dr. visit planned for Friday. And now? Add Amanda to the list.
If it were not for Psalm 91, and my reading and reading it, over and over again, and knowing that God's Will be done, that my strength comes from Him, I'd probably just walk out back, and keep walking until the earth swallowed me whole.
Keep those prayers and thoughts coming. I can "feel" them.

Good News .... Betsy is feeling much better this morning and looking forward to being released tomorrow. She says she misses everyone and is having "MH Withdrawal" symptoms. Wonder if they have a pill for that.
She thanks everyone again for continued support and prayers. You are a great bunch of people and she really appreciates it.

First, my sister in Portland's mother in law was just diagnosed with colon/stomach cancer...she is advanced in age and there's not much they can do. As the family has just gone through a tragic death of a 28 year old with leukemia, they will need a lot of prayer to deal with this...

May all who pray for someone today recieve extra blessings from above for being kind and thoughtful towards those in need of blessings from the True Father! The old addage what goes up must come down is one of those absolutes meaning whosoever would pray for someone, they too shall be prayed for and that is the concept of prayer.
