Jesus & Satan make the news

I had to decide wether to post this here or somewhere in the News section, but I posted it here. I didnt catch WDAM yesterday.
Some say this littles Billboard is sexually explicit. Does this mean Satan is Gay?

This is a excerpt of the article from wdam..
(The two-sided billboard is on Highway 15 North in Laurel. One side reads "Jesus Saves" while the other says "Satan Sucks." )

I saw it on the news as well. I didn't necessarily think it was sexually explicit... but I also don't think a billboard that says "Satan Sucks" is going to influence anyone in a positive way.

'sucks' in todays day and age doesnt exactly have the sexual connotation he is trying to say it does... it just references something negative

however

whoever came up with that little 'campaign' just wasted a lot of peoples time, money, energy and resources because that has got to be the stupidest thing ive ever seen

i have seen a lot of ingenious religious marketing strategies...that one ranks on the bottom of my list.

First off, first amendment.
Second, I think some Christians need to loosen up a little, maybe then that chip would fall off their shoulder. Maybe some kid drives by on his way to Sunday school & sees it & thinks "Cool, maybe these folks aren't as stuck up as I thought they were." I know when I was a pre teen I probably would have thought it was cool.

Might get a giggle or two, but I don't think it's going to convince anyone of anything. I really don't get the "sexually explicit" thing either - "sucks" has been used in a non-sexually way for decades. Maybe some people just have dirty minds.

Now, that one makes me laugh, cause it makes me think God is inviting you to heaven, not to church... so, c'mon over and bring the kids to heaven... now, you'll have to die first, but that's okay, I'll validate it... LOL...
