Certifications?

Anybody got any certs? Like A+, Net+, Microsoft, Linux, Cisco, etc.? I'm in Jackson now taking a Net+ class, sit for exam Friday. Why am I on here? I gotta go study, later.

I had a CCNA, but let it lapse since I wasn't using it.

I had my A+, MCSE, adobe master designer and after effects certs(i think theyre doing it all differently now though), and flash designer certifications at one point...but theyve all lapsed.

certifications only mean anything when youre first starting out IMO...i havent had anybody ask me to prove my certs

i just became a certified scuba diver as of sunday. i work in IT, but havent obtained any certs as of yet.

My son has just about every Cisco and MS certification known to man, plus some I'm not smart enough to know about.;) They seem to be worth a lot more $$ than an ole worn-out master's degree.

True dat, they're wanting us to get our A+, Linux, MCSE (?), and CCNA after I complete the Net+, as well as CTP and a couple of others. I was to attain the A+ first but our scheduler reversed which goes first. Looks like I'm gonna be busy over the next year or so, they want us to get all these like quick. Buy hey, they paying for it, so why not, right?
