That's a terrible loss both for the Cardinals and his family. Only 29 years old...how sad.

Very sad, indeed. Hancock is a Mississippi native, originally from Cleveland I believe. He went to high school in Birmingham and later played at Auburn. (All this according to the Clarion-Ledger)
