Anyone know where to get some good boiled crawfish here in the Hattiesburg area? I know that it's a Mexican treat to have the lil buggers, shoot tequila, then put on funny hats and pretend I'm a pirate.

So, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm actually going to a crawfish boil today at a friend's house!

Last year, I went to a crawfish boil at the Crawdad Hole. The music there was much better than the garbage they've got lined up at the Miller Lite one, in my opinion, but I haven't heard anything about one at the Crawdad Hole this year.

Don't waste the shells they make great fertilizer.

I'd imagine the heads and shells make a great seafood stock too.

Dollfus, I lived in Louisiana for several years and can't recall anyone using the heads and shells for stock. Anybody out there from 'down the Parish?
