Miranda, who has been banned from three countries, told Local 6 News cameras and a cheering crowd that he was Jesus Christ reincarnated.
His followers believe that Miranda's life and his teachings replace those of Jesus of Nazareth, Local 6's Jamie Guirola said.
"They believe that Jesus is going to come from the sky," Juan Sanchez said. "But, that is not the way he is going to come."
"He is here?" Guirola said.
"He is here." Sanchez said.
Miranda said millions of people worldwide have tattooed their bodies with "666" in recognition that the second-coming of Christ has taken place,
Wow. I've studied cults before, and this has potential CULT written all over it. I'm not sure I understand the significance of the '666' tattoo. Millions of followers, though. That's a lot.

So did Miranda count all the people who tattooed themselves? Or was that an estimate? Was it real tattoos or wash-off tattoos? Was it really "999" and he just looked at them upside down?
This story raises more questions than it answers.

I heard about that guy a while back, a real crackpot kinda guy. His followers seem to be mostly of Hispanic decent if I remember right, he came from some island in the Caribbean, he was probably a rastafarian (sp?), smoking that wacky weed or something. But he ain't Jesus, Jesus is coming back like a thief in the night, right?

Yeah! I saw him too! he smokes and drinks and he is rich, rich, rich, lots of bling bling! Yep he's a wolf in wolfs clothing, a thief out in broad daylight and they acept him.
No Jesus in him just another God of this World (2 Corinthians 4:4). (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2%20Corinthians%204:4)

I think about that all the time, 58. There are SO many Christians who say they can recognize the signs of the 'true' Jesus, but the Bible says that almost all will be deceived by the false prophets.
IMO, I don't think Jesus would think too highly of those in churches these days. They put more emphasis on spreading the word and teaching the word than living the word. I just don't see that many Christians living as humbly as I think Jesus wants them to live. That's just MY OPINION. I"m sure someone will come around and tell me I'm wrong in a minute.
But as for this guy, he's got too much money to be Jesus. His ring is WAY too big!

If I'm not mistaken, Jesus isn't going to walk the Earth again. So, if you miss the boat, it's because you didn't believe, not because you didn't recognize him.

Sure does. Somebody should shoot the dude. See what happens in three days. End of story. End of Miranda.

Maybe he'll take his followers back to the Promised Land of Mexico City.

I googled the man's name, just to see what he was preaching. Most of the sites are in spanish, and as most translations sites are shit, I'm just having to go off excerpts from interviews he's had.
1. He thinks all other churches should be destroyed and his chuch be the only one.
2. He thinks he can't be killed. I think he invited the interviewer to shoot him to prove it. I could be remembering wrong, though.

Now if that Chris Angel, Mindfreak dude startin sayin he was from another world, I might believe him. I mean the dude levitates. Can Miranda levitate or impale himself and walk away unharmed? These are the questions we should be asking.

Perhaps we could get Dr. Kevorkian out for a command performance.

"He who knew no sin became sin for us."
"Tempted in all things, yet without sin."
According to the Bible, Jesus lived a sinless life. This fraud was an often arrested crack addict before he "became" Jesus.
I John shows that the spirit of antichrists (the spirit of dissention) will go out from the church.
This guy is a fraud who capitalizes on the lack of Biblical literacy of his "followers."
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4: 6)
So you're saying this Miranda guy ain't my lord and savior?
