I received that look before. I asked a lady how far along she was with her pregnancy, she gave me that look, and then said she wasn't pregnant. Whoops................

Unless you KNOW FOR SURE that a woman is pregnant, NEVER EVER ask how far along she is. I have a friend who gets asked all the time. Of course it is kinda funny to see the look on the askers face! lol I'm lucky...flat stomach...but I've witnessed that odd situation a few times! lol

:smt023 GOOD JOB!!! :)

Asking a woman that question (who isn't pregnant) could actually get you killed. ;)

What a dork our President is sometimes! :smt119 The Queen has always been one of my heroes. She is always the very image of dignity and grace. On another note, in the third picture where they are all standing on the balcony waving, our First Lady looks like she just got off the short bus. Oh, how the British tabloids will have fun with those pictures...

The First Lady has been know to speak plainly at times. Last year when Stephen Cobert was the MC for the White House Correspondents Assoc dinner, he took some pretty good humorous shots at GWB. As he left the podium and waked past Laura to take his seat, she looked up at him and said, "F**K YOU! It was on youtube for awhile and may still be floating around out there somewhere. I will try to find it but lately Viacom has been very protective of clips of Cobert since he's Viacom property.

I missed that one Hawkeye.... And this is who we have representing America? I am not talking about politics, I am talking about no class! :smt105 No wonder people in foreign countries think that we are idiots when they see stuff like that!

When Queen Elizabeth visited Yosemite back in 1985 I was given a 2 page list of protocol dos and don'ts if approached by the Queen.

I remember one was not to touch her or speak to her first.

Her agenda was switched around that whole weekend to keep people unaware of where she was.

A ranger I knew was picked to take her on a walk to Mirror Lake. He had the same list and she stumbled and he thought --Do I let the Queen fall or is it permissible to steady her.? She caught herself.

I was allowed to view her coming out of the Chapel on a Sunday along with her managers that were screened by somebody. I was probably 20' from her and I am sure the Secret Service or whoever they were would have tackled or shot any of us if we had gotten too close.

The Chapel was surrounded by cliffs manned with Search and RescueRangers and approved Climbers scanning with binoculars and they had secured the area ahead of time.

Pomp and Circumstance. But very interesting, especially all the agents in the main store staring at cans of corn and peas all day long. I guess they were trying to hear the common people.???????

This event at Yosemite was right after some deputies were killed while securing one of those roads. I heard the Queen was very upset because that was for her safety and she had dinner in her room that night. She had the whole top floor of the Ahwahnee and the dining room was closed off for her as were all the shops when she went shopping.

I got to eat English food at one of the restaurants the night before. I didn't like it. Browns, grays and boring. So disappointing.

Security I can understand, she's an international figure, but she doesn't deserve any more courtesy or regard than any other person.
Heck, she doesn't even do anything, but show up & wave.

Has anyone watched "The Queen" yet? I saw it last weekend and it really gives an inside glance as to all the hoopla. I loved the part where Tony Blair and his wife meets her for the first time and her secretary is going through the "do's and don'ts" it was a riot. If you haven't seen the movie - it really is a must-see.

See, George W. Bush could have been someone's "phone a friend" on "Millionaire." He's smart!

Relax. I seriously doubt she actually said "Get Fcked." You can't hear what she's saying, and if the words weren't flashed across the screen, there would be no reason to even think that.

I don't know what she said, but considering Steve'e bullshit rant, I'd have had a nice juicy comment for him.
