Wynn is about to head out for Memphis for the weekend, then he is on his way to Fontana Lake in North Carolina for some fly fishing till mid. week. Congrats to all the graduates. (I found when i graduated, that the Sony PSP is a great way to kill time while you're waiting for your name to be called.)

Just make sure you don't go out on the lake in a riveted aluminum boat..You need one of them welded suckers! (The welded ones are for us big framed folks.)

What a beautiful lake! I love the scenery in NC....the steams that run along side of the roads, the waterfalls...would love to go stay for about a month!

Kinda slow @ times, but it was great to get out in the mountains and back in the river for a while. Kinda weird today putting on the office garb instead of my fly gear and trading my fly rod for a mouse and keyboard. *sigh*

Its a beautiful place with great fishing. :) And the history is pretty amazing too. I bought a topo map while there and it noted locations under water of towns, homes, businesses, cemetaries and such from when they flooded the area when they built the dam. To imagine that all those little "islands" are actually mountain tops is pretty awesome.
