From JTR to dahmer, who's ya fav.
joking aside I have always wondered what happens to the mind that causes someone to do unspeakable acts to another human,I can understand a killing in the heat of passion, but I dont get the serial killers mind,is it a birth defect? Did they miss a certain vitamin? Was it the way that they were raised? Could it be something that takes place in the brain that could happen to any of us at any time?Spooky.

Eddie Gein: (http://www.crimelibrary.com/serial_killers/notorious/gein/bill_1.html)
Considered to be a mild-mannered bachelor whose emotional development had been stunted by his domineering mother, he shocked the world when police found his vest of human skin and a cache of body parts. Gein is the model for The Silence of the Lambs' Buffalo Bill and Psycho's Norman Bates.

My favorite would have to be the Zodiac killer. He was never caught.

Silence of the Lambs has to be one of my all time favorite movies. Reports say, along with the author's comments, that just about all of the infamous serial killer's profiles, up to that time, were used in part to make a character for the movie. If you have read bios on all the players and look at each and every move of the characters in the movie you can spot the representation.
