Hey all, it is virtually impossible to keep up with this forum....and I use Google start page as an rss reader. So anyone know a good rss reader or a better rss start page.

if youre using firefox 2.0 (and i think all other versions) you click the RSS icon that exists in the address bar...
itll take you to a firefox page viewing the current RSS feed...click 'subscribe to this feed' and itll add it to 'live bookmarks'
at that point...all your live bookmarks will exist wherever you have it set up...personally mine is, and by default, is a bar that exists below the addressbar and buttons...you click the one youre looking for and it brings up all the threads...

also when you click the icon...youll get the choice to subscribe to the full MH feed or just the feed of the forum that you are currently on...IE if you were to click ont eh link now...you would have the option to subscribe to the technology forum

The main reason I use Netvibes and Feedreader is because I can export the feeds. This is super important if you ever want to change readers. I have somewhere around 100 different feeds and losing them would mean a lot of work was lost.

Glad you like it. The only real problem I've found with feedreader is it updates constantly and will bother you constantly unless you set it correctly. Some people want to see articles as soon as they are posted. I usually have an allotted time for reading everything, usually in the early morning. So, getting updates every hour about stuff got annoying. That's when I switched to Netvibes, so I could just visit the page when I got the chance.

Well Aaron I'll see how it goes....Netvibes was very sloooow loading when I'd restart my homepage....that's why I left.
Gmail takes way too long to load on dial-up too! So I left it too.
I love the web2.0 stuff but is a killer for dial up users.

Sorry to jump on this one a little late....but you've got to try BLOGLINES as your reader. I use it with Firefox and I keep up with around 30 RSS feeds daily with it.

Umm, I'd really like to know what all this rss thingy is. I've heard it, but I've no idea what you all are talking about. Please to explain?
