That's Elphie...actually the same puppy that is posing with the soccer ball in shutterbug's photo, but she was a few weeks younger in my pictures (we really need to get some recent shots of her). She's a Jack Russell or Rat Terrier mix of some kind, no one is really sure.

P.S. Those kids in your post are precious! Are they both yours?

She does look like a Ratty mix. The brown doggy in my post is my sweet Ginger. The other dog is Sugar, my old roommate's dog. Sugar is also a jack russel mix, she's a mess. But they were best buds when they lived together.
Ginger's about a year old, she was 6 months in the pics but looks the same...except she got in a fight with a racoon so now she's got a wicked scar over her eye-- it makes her look more "hard core" and less 'cute' What can I say? She's from the pound, she's a rough and tumble kinda girl! :smt062
I wish hattiesburg had a dog park so Ginger could play with other dogs. She really needs more socializing--she's starting to get a little b^*(hy, doesn't like to share very much. haha
