I'm not a father (not yet anyway), but I want to say Happy Father's Day to my Dad and to my Grandfather. Neither one will probably see this, but I wanted to say it anyway.

Called my Father-Out-Law this morning. He told me the same thing he told me years ago when his daughter and I got divorced, "When are you going to move in with us?"

To all who wished us Dad's a happy day, thank you very much. I appreciate it. Boy Wonder (also lovingly known as peckerhead, just depending) is taking me to lunch at my favorite Chinese restaurant, Lu's, and then to a baseball game. Nothing more Americana than a Dad and son at a ballgame, unless it's a fishing trip. Thanks again, all.

Thanks for the greetings. This is my fifth father's day as a dad and the day sure does mean more now that I can celebrate it with my son. He is the best father's day gift I could get.:)

Happy Father's Day all you MH dads! Hope you have a delightful day and have the opportunity to enjoy your children.

Sadly, my dad past away 38 years ago on Father's Day...so it is a very sad day for me...I sure miss my hugs!

I however have to wish my hubby a very happy Father's Day...I am so thankful I still have him here with me. I will never forget the look on his face when he told me we had a son.....never seen him smile so big or be so proud....

Happy Father's Day to all daddies out there!

I've been fortunate to have a good father and two strong grandfathers in my life.....My dad's father worked for Southern Railroad for 40 years and continues to work in his garden almost everyday at the age of 89....he also takes care of my granny, who has Alzheimer's, like a bear takes care of a cub....He's a real man...

My mom's dad was a Marine Corps Drill Seargent who, later became a computer science professor and, upon retirement, worked his land till his body wouldn't let him anymore...

My ol' man is just a hard workin', no bullshit guy, who's done just about everything except walk on the moon....always had the courage to step out and try anything despite what others said or thought...

I was dealt a good hand in life when it came to male role models....I'm not a father, yet, but hope to be one day...If I can be half the father/husband/man these men have been and continue to be, I think I will have done pretty well....
