I'm going to try something here. When the National Weather Service puts out an alert from Lamar or Forrest counties, it should create a new thread in here with the alert so everyone knows about it. It may make a new thread for Lamar and Forrest counties, but that's unavoidable with the way they have their alerts set up.

Immediate driving hazards!
This Monday afternoon series of thunder, rain and wind storms has debris scattered on various roads in the Pine Belt.
I just traveled Highway 532 from Mt. Olive to Hot Coffee and the roadway is littered with fallen trees and tree tops.
You will have to slow down and drive in either the right hand or left hand lanes on many of the highways in the area.
The immediate wind sheer front popped green and dead trees on several roads and scattered various other debris from homes onto the roadway.
30 seconds ago @ 3:27 p.m. Mississippi Public Radio on 88.1 fm went off the air, perhaps from the wind sheer?

It looks like they release these alerts every 2 hours while the storm is in the area, I may have to look for another solution.
