I was looking through some of the HA's photo galleries. There is one of Abbie Rogers funeral - and several of the photos were taken INSIDE the church, DURING the funeral. I thought that was very inappropriate and intrusive. Would the church have to give permission for the photographer to be there? Would the family of the deceased? Any thoughts? Thanks!

no more intrusive than televising princess dianas funeral...or any of our dead presidents...or the pope
just as long as there wasnt like a gregarious shot of the body...im okay with it
the HA usually does a pretty good job of staying respectful in those situations

I'm guessing the church gave permission, although it surprises me. Many Episcopal churches don't allow photography during weddings, much less during funerals. However, they have a new Rector, and it would be his call, along with the family.
