I couldn't find where anyone had started a thread on this after 2 pages so I figured I would make one for the show.
I don't watch much TV, but last night I happen to catch a pretty good chunk of the episode.
There was this one guy...Chaz or Chase or something from TX. He is a pretty good sized fella' and listening to him in the interview I thought to myself this guy can't sing....but he is doing it for his wife and kids.
Then he got on the stage and literally blew me away with his solo "Walking On the Moon". It was the best solo of a song I have ever heard. Damn near brought tears to my eyes because of the heart he put into it.
Anybody else catch it?

Yeah, He just strolled out in his shorts and t-shirt, answered a couple of questions and then just stunned the hell out of everybody...I am glad I caught it because when he walked out I think everybody had written him off already before he even opened his mouth.

I agree with you guys, Absolutely 100% - the best one yet. I watched it last season and I've caught it this one too.
I would like to say I was mildly disgusted with the 1st epsiode. Too much drama between Sharon and Piers. The show is not about her or him. Of course, The Hoffman couldn't be outdone so he had to show alittle a$$ last night.
They need to get over themselves and get on with the talent or lack of!

I missed side swipe last year. They are good.
I guess shakira is no worse than the hoola-hoop dude that dressed up in all the glitter and feathers, bright lipstick and lots of mascara. Brandi liked him and kept bringing him back, can't remember his name (it was weird). I think he even balanced a sword on his nose....
The guy with the doll (ventriloquist) was one of the best I've seen on there.

You are speaking of Leonid The Magnificent.
On the ventriloquist... he was certainly the best I've seen.... definitely the most unique.

I love Sharon Osborn though, she is such a sweetie!

Well, Cas made second place. Terry Vader (sp?) was awesome. I have never followed a reality show like I have followed this one. Some of the acts brought tears to my eyes. You can see the desire in their eyes to make it to the next level. I am not a TV man, but I have almost...emphasis on almost watched this show faithfully when possible. Butterscotch also blew my mind as well. I have never heard anything like what she does ever. It has been amazing to watch these individuals step it up over the last weeks..... From 100,000 acts to one I am glad I watched it. It just goes to show you can be what you want to be if you put in the time and effort.

This season had some great contestants. The winner could have been any of the four but I have a feeling all final four will be booked indefinitely.

I haven't even watched it, but I'll bet they all have more talent than David Hasselhoff....

I'm glad the top 2 were who they were. I think both were very talented. I really didn't think the beatbox girl was very impressive and honestly I'm tired of the fawning over any little girl who sings "grown-up" songs. I had a good laugh when she got to the line in that song about driving... she isn't old enough to drive!

I'm pleased Terry Fader (sp) won. The others will do well on their own. They'll make it big. It's not every day that someone wants to sign a ventriloquist though. He is great.

I wanted both of them to win.
