Don't mess with Texas

AUSTIN, Texas — A crowd attacked and killed a passenger in a vehicle that had struck and injured a child, police said Wednesday.

I'm not surprised this happened in Texas, but I am a little surprised that it would happen in Austin. I thought Austin was filled with peace loving hippies.

I hope the good samaratian that stopped to help the poor guy can identified those who took the law into their own hands. Mr. Morales apparently knew he had hurt the child and at least stopped, then was killed. Interestingly enough, the child was treated for it's "non-life threatening injuries". Wonder if Mr. Morales had any family?

The guy they killed was a passenger in the car. He was, according to a separate article I found on this story, trying to defend the driver. The driver escaped.

Ahhh....read it to mean that this other guy stopped to help Morales. Not that Morales was his passenger. That makes it even worse. Geez.
