South Carolina made the news again in yet one more embarrassing act. Or illustrious Treasurer and candidate for Senate was nailed with crack cocaine. The name Ravenel in SC is like Kennedy in MA. We have bruhahas over the Confederate flag. We have Lott making a comment about Strom Thurman, we have two neked lovers falling off the roof and now Thomas Ravenel. geeeeeeeeeez. And Hollywood picks on MS.
Now here's the deal. Ravenel got caught with "about a pound" of crack cocaine. He's at home. The drug dealer, got caught with 14 grams. In SC, possession of 10 grams is cause to be charged with trafficking. Ravenel isn't charged with trafficking. He only bought it "for personal use and to give to his friends. The dealer had to post a $50,000 bond, and is charged with trafficking in cocaine. Ravenel is not, repeat, not being given special treatment. :smt118 That's a true story!!
