My Boxer died back in March, and I still have some of her things. I don't want to watch them gather dust.

1. An extra large crate for large breeds. It's the thick plastic kind with the wire door. Disassembles easily for cleanup. Over $100 new at Wal Mart. I want $40 for it.

2. A PetSafe wireless pet containment system (http://www.petsafe.net/pet_containment/wireless_fence/index.php) w/ collar, flags, and extra batteries. A unit plugs in and puts out a magnetic field up to 180 feet in diameter. When the dog's collar moves to the edge of that boundary, a warning beep is sounded. If the dog continues and crosses the boundary, they receive an electrical zap that is similar to when you get a static electric shock from touching a doorknob. The size of the boundary and the intensity of the shock are adjustable. The system worked fine last time I used it, which was in March. Requires training, which they say takes about 2 weeks. My Boxer figured it out the first time she got zapped. Lots of info on how to use this system is available online.

I paid $350 for this at A & R Garden, but have seen them elsewhere for around $280.
$125.

3. Remotely controlled training collar. This collar can deliver the same electrical zap as the one described above, except you control it with a remote. I used this to train mine to stop digging, scratching doors, etc. Has a "warning" feature, so that the dog hears a warning beep before he is zapped, if you set it to do that. Intensity of "zaps" is adjustable. Range is 45 yards, give or take a few. I believe I paid $50ish for this, maybe $60. I want $25.

Individual prices are firm, but I will sell all 3 items together for $150. PM me if you're interested in looking at anything.

Mac I bought the PetSafe wireless pet containment system w/ collar, for 300.00 @ Pet smart so don't feel bad. But if you still have the Remote control training collar for $25.00 I would like to get that one.

You're right--- we did pay $350. I was wrong. I've seen them in other places for around $280. Got my numbers wrong. I went back and changed that in the original post, but I guess $125 is still fair.

I pulled out that training collar, and am on my way to Wal Mart right now to get a new battery for it.

Real funny.

Have you ever heard of someone dying after walking across a carpet in their socks and then touching a doorknob? It's the same thing. I wouldn't put anything on my dog before I did it to myself, so I've felt it, and it's like getting pinched. You want to avoid it, but it's not gonna kill you.

King, hubby tested it on himself. It startles more than it hurts. Me I was too scared to test it on myself. I guess you could call me a "soft dog"

Mac Thanks, for a great deal! All works great! So far just putting the collar on worked a miracle. Go figure!

I have. There are different types, and most can be set to different levels of intensity.

We use it for our Boxer, also. It didn't take long for her to learn. She now stops before the fence even without the collar on. My husband and I figured that a few small shocks are infinitely better than being hit by a car.
