I saw the commercial for this a couple of days ago. I am curious if anyone has tried or seen one of these in person.

Don't waste your money. Get a bicycle or start walking. All this is, is a ploy to get your money by offering you pain free beauty. There is NOTHING that this machine can do for you that equipment free exercise can't do for you.

OK, I walk but I have big honking top of the legs. Kind of like Hershel Walker but not really. Are you saying that you can't isolate that area? I'm not being confortational , just asking.

I know you're not being confrontational. You can target areas for muscle growth, but you can't target areas for fat reduction. Your body will take it off in pretty much the pattern that it was put on. If you have relatively low body fat you need to focus on your lower legs & slack off on upper leg exercise. If you have some pounds to lose, an overall cardiovascular work out (Aerobic) work out is going to be your best bet. Swimming & cycling are my personal favorites. Also, hows your diet?

I've not done so hot lately. I gave up on the nutrisystem. It worked, I just hated the dinners.
I used to keep up with my diet and stuff on fitday.com but I haven't done it in the past few months b/c I didn't want to acknowledge the miniature almond joys and half kid's meals I have been eating. I can tell I am not doing well by the fit of my clothes and the way my husband stares at me when I eat.:smt118
I am trying to walk then run on my treadmill. Walking one lap then running another. I only made 2 miles today. :smt086

A long time ago, my grand mother had a weight problem. Her doctor gave her a "diet". If she got above a certain weight, for the meal she cooked for the family she could only have her favorite cooking spoon full of each dish she cooked for the family, and after the meal she had to walk around the block once for every 2 spoonfuls she ate. It's basically the old eat less exercise more thing. Trust me, as someone who has struggled with weight, don't fall for fads, ther is no "easy" or "quick" solution. The ONLY thing that works is "eat less exercise more". Everything else is someone trying to take your money. They feed (profit) on your insecurity & your laziness. (not meant as a jibe, just the truth)

My Maw in law told me to get some apple cider vinegar tablets to get rid of water weight. I have purchased them and am taking. I haven't seen any major bloat loss - I am thinking of having my back teeth pulled. :-D
I love the spoon thing. Sounds like something Dr. Duck would have done.

Pinky- that machine can work possibly-not sure if you'd cramp up thought. Adductor and abductor-works the muscles in your inner and outer thighs- including your butt and hips. There's another machine http://www.bodybyjake.com/hipandthighsculptor/ though- same results, but you're sitting.
If you're planning on purchasing an exercise machine, great! You'll be working those muscles and getting better definition; just keep up the cardio to rid the fat. You can always build muscle, but without cardio it's just building up under layers of fat.
My thighs, hips, and butt are my problem areas, so a machine like this would do wonders- I've done them at the gym...great buy in my opinion!
