Apparently Jesus aka Saint Michael the Archangel Jesus is making a run as a radical conservative Republican candidate for President in '08.
Here is a link to his campaign page and you can also read a book review by his big brother Jesus regarding his new book.

This guy looks like he is fresh out of a Cheech and Chong movie... I always knew Rev. Fairley was tellin the truth when he said he had a "real close and personal" relationship with Jesus. :smt046

Maybe he will choose Shaun O'hara for a V.P. candidate.:smt102:smt046

Anyway here is his website:

Bluesman, can you translate? I pulled up the website but . . it weirded me out. Who is Shaun O'Hara? (Let's not go pokin' sticks at the Irish, please.)

Yeah that was the impression I got from the ol boy when I went to his site. He has a pretty warped sense of EVERYTHING in or out of this world! Not pokin any sticks at the Irish:-D I am one... Are you not from around here? I thought everyone knew who he was! Shaun O'hara is currently seeking EVERY elected position on the Mississippi ballot. He has run for everything for as long as I can remember. There are even some threads on here that are devoted to him and many people will jokingly add "this may be O'hara's year" from time to time in political posts. O'hara is somewhat of an eccentric individual...

Uh, yeah I'm from around here, but somehow/someway the name Shaun O'Hara escapes me. If he's an eccentric individual, he may get my vote. At least he might be entertaining. Does he have a party affiliation?

Oh, nevermind. It matters not these days. What matters more is whether or not James Dobson endorses him.

I think he generally just runs... He don't care what party if any endorses him. He was on the front page of the HA a week or two ago about a judge ruling against him in some politics case cause someone wouldn't certify him or something... Heck, I've always known he was "certified" so I don't see what the big deal is.

Bluesman, how you can mention Shawn O'Hara on a thread about Jesus is beyond me!

Seriously, if I can say that on this thread, if the REAL JESUS was to come back to run for office, I can just hear folks today talking about Him. "I don't like the long hair," or "He's Jewish, can he win the evangelical vote?" He would go on the talk shows and be asked to turn water into wine, then be criticized by the Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

Somehow, I just don't think it would work.

Did you go to the website? This guy is a whack job. I think he's taken one too many puffs on the ol bong...:-D Could you imagine runnin into this guy in town. If he started talkin to me I would be looking around for the hidden cameras or something cause I would just know I was on one of those "gotcha" type shows, the ones that set you up and then let you in on it after you've made an ass of yourself on national TV.
