i was doing some searching for things to do with my HUGE crop of blueberries this year and came across this website:

http://www.pickyourown.org/allaboutcanning.htm

i remembered seeing some people discussing putting things up the other day, and i thought i might post this for some of you.

happy preserving!!!

yeah. i know all about those that like to eat.....Cubby definitely can pack away some blueberries too! he was mowing the other day and couldn't resist "making another pass by the berries to grab a handful."

i hope someone finds something on there they like! i'm going to try making some blueberry syrup and homemade canned pie filling!

:-D Thank you so much for the website... I just saved it to my favorites. I'm new to "putting up" vegetables so I need all the help I can get. I know Granny will be glad I don't call her every 5 minutes!!!

my mom's gotten pretty excited about me learning to put up my own stuff. we even found out that Cubby is a really good pea sheller! we're working on making jelly out of the dewberries we froze back in April.
