View Full Version : 11 Year Old Charged w/ DUI After 8 mi Police Chase
http://www1.whdh.com/news/articles/national/BO56659/
The girl, who was slightly injured in the crash, is now charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, reckless endangerment and leaving the scene of an accident. Duck said she sideswiped another vehicle during the roughly 8-mile chase.
I hate to ask the obvious questions, but
--WHERE THE H*** WERE HER PARENTS?
--HOW DID SHE GET THE ALCOHOL??
--HOW DID SHE GET THE CAR KEYS???
--WHY ON EARTH WOULD SHE HAVE FELT SHE NEEDED TO GO PICK HER SISTER UP?????????

LOL! I said the EXACT same thing when I heard this! And charges should be brought against her parents. Really, where WERE these people? HOW could an 11 year old get drunk and her parents NOT know?

there has to be something wrong with those parenting skills...
this really bothers me...

And can you imagine the headline if she'd been killed in that police chase? You know they would've criticized the cops for chasing her.

Eleven years old?!?!?!? Hmmm- alcohol, driving, running from the cops- this girl is getting her record started early in life.
How did she manange to drive so far? When I was 11, there was NO way I could even sit behind the wheel and see where the hell I was going, much less put my foot on the gas pedal at the same time! :smt118 Where's the partner in crime?! :smt118

Where's the Driving Without A License charge? Who performed the Field Sobriety Test, and how?
"Here y'are little darlin', stand right there and do as I say . . "
Where there open containers in the vehicle?
". . now sing after me, `On the go-od ship, lolli-pop . . .' . . "

Someone asked why she was going to get her sister?
They were going to a concert.
I bet the insurance doesn't pay since I am sure the kid was not listed and doesn't have a permit or driver's license.
I was in 6th grade when I was 11 and I am sure I could not have done that. I would have been grounded for the rest of my life or too sore to sit if I had.
