Shoot, I'm supposed to be at a function at somebody's house south of Paul B. Johnson. The actual rain has eased up here in the burg, but it looks like another big system making its way north east, right over where I'm headed. I hate to bail on my friend, but I don't do well driving in bad weather.

Thanks Hawk, I just checked the radar again and phoned my regrets. Like I told my friend, I'm not the most confident driver when the weather's good, and I'm really not comfortable when it's bad.

Well Hawk, you and Ms Elle did one hell of a rain dance didn't you? We need the rain for sure but one day of sun would be nice...the grass in my yard is almost up to my butt and it has only been one week since we mowed. The cooler temps are what is nice for a change.

I went out on the deck last nite about midnight with BooBoo and according to my themometer it was 67 out side. It was almost "fall" feeling.

If all this rain we have been getting has been due to your rain dance, Hawk........will you please stop shaking your butt???? Enough of all this liquid sunshine, already....and you right ....here we go again.....

My squash turned out to be a punkin'....Jr. stabbed holes all in it so he could smell it. Oh well, it was a cute little punkin' too.

Go ahead make it rain this weekend so I can go fishin'. I love fishin' in da' rain. You ain't gotta fight for spots....

Got a little here in the SW burg, but not as much as we need. Need a quiet, day-long drippy rain. Nap weather, know-what-I-mean??

Anyone get in God juice, today? Rained hard here today for about 5 whole minutes...just enough to wet de furrows 1 inch deep. Goood for de lil seedings but dey need a soaker, soon.

Still muggy here, tonight....we could still get some 'fore morn. bnice

You can thank me for that. It rained while I was putting my groceries in the car. And stopped when I got them loaded. It was God just letting me know he's still watching me. I think I may have been complaining or something and He noticed.

Yep, the leaves are picked up in my yard so it is a sure sign the wind will blow.
