I have searched for dozens of people, some of which I know have facebook pages & I cannot find anyone I know. I've tried using different networks etc., but I can't find diddly squat.

I prefer myspace over facebook but it seems these days they are adding many new features to facebook to make it like myspace and myspace has added some that are copied from facebook. They are both a good way to waste time :)

I have facebook- but I RARELY use it. It's not very user friendly, in my opinion. I like myspace.

Searching for ANYONE on facebook is like searching a needle in a haystack. I think for a while you could only find people you went to school with- not sure if it's changed. I know you can "poke" people, send gifts, etc- none of which make ANY sense to me. Anyhow- that's about all I can think of for now! :)

Facebook used to be open only to students, but now they have opened it to anyone. I prefer it over MySpace, or at least I did. Facebook had a much cleaner interface and everyone displayed their real names. It was much easier to tell who was who. On MySpace, people could clog their pages with so much crap and glaring backgrounds that it made trying to read annoying if not impossible. Now Facebook has adopted some of those aspects (customizing pages, allowing people to display nicknames).

I don't care much, considering I don't use either one very often anymore. About the only communication I get are from annoying people who are trying to rack up as many friends as possible and therefore want me to approve them as mine.

Hmm, I tend to think Facebook is much better than MySpace. Personally, I am on Facebook, but not MySpace. MH is on MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/myhattiesburg), and I think it should be just because I like getting the events from other businesses around town, and fully intend to use that one day.

I like Facebook much more than MySpace. MySpace is cluttered and spammy.

:p

I am addicted to Myspace. I havent tried Facebook but might have to give it a try. I have to check my myspace page everyday or I feel like I am missing something.

I LOVE facebook! Myspace was to confusing to me and my computer takes forever to pull up pages because ppl insist on junking them up with glittery flashing things. Facebook has gotten new stuff lately and its starting to run slow :( but i still like it over myspace.

I can't get into Facebook. I signed up since a friend I guess tried to find me by my email and it sent a signup link. I like how clean facebook is but I'm much more comfortable with myspace.

i used to be a facebook addict! when USM first got onto the network...but now i just check it once a day if that - but i like it a little bit better than myspace..but some friends are on one, some are on the other... anyways when i search, if they are on facebook, i can usually find them, unless they have made themselves invisible which is very possible.

I made a My Space page, but I only go look at it when I get an email saying that I've got a message or whatever.

I understand wanting to find lost friends, but once you find them, what next? There are a few people that "found" me, and we still never talk. Once the "Oh my God what have you been doing for the last ten years" part was over, we had nothing to talk about and it was just kinda depressing.
