i'm finally finishing things-

so, i kinda took a week off, and now i'm almost done with a few more things around the house-

heres the kitchen floor all done with the grout and transitions from the tile to the wood floor.

all i have left on that project is the little bit of wood putty on the transitions and the quarter round under the cabinets. i would have had the quarter round, but i am 98% complete with my "junk room"

the junk room had all our tools, the computer desk with "blue" and a bunch of other crap. since i was off and little bro wanted to, we cleaned it out, laid the floor, painted, and today i finished with the baseboards and all the quarter round that i had left in my stock. all that is left in this room is the rest of the furniture, a ceiling fan, and a little touch up on the walls-

so here is the new almost finished room in the house, with ol blue who hasn't been run in over a year and a half-

BTW i have been replacing all the outlets from that 80's tan color to pure white- and i'm putting in those designer switches- they are a little larger and nice to the touch. well worth the extra .50 per switch IMO
