Dang it, I wanted one.
Probably the price got inflated with a bunch of fake bids once it got attention. I adored that movie when I was a kid though.

i just watched that again for the second time the other day. i remember the first time i'd watched it. cubby hadn't seen it and a co-worker mentioned it. we found it in the $5 bin at WallyWorld. great movie!
wasn't there a sequel to it?

Steve Guttenberg, like Swayze, was, IMO, underappreciated as an actor....his work in all of the Police Academies and Three Men and a Baby left me speechless....

Yep. I got both the original and the sequel from that bin at a Wal-Mart.

sorry, i wasn't exactly very old in the 80s.... 7 at max when 1990 rolled around...
i didn't see that one in there though.
