No, actually these are old timey pickled peaches like many granny's use to make. With any meat dish, they're out of this world. And, with the left-over syrup, you can do some mean cooking, momma!

I'll post a recipe, soon. I have been canning and freezing my but off every day for two weeks, now, and half the pea patch is just coming in.

This afternoon, I gonna make dat uncooked raw egg homemade ice cream dat QM gave me the recipe for. I'm craving it as that's the kind we make when I was a wee tot.

When you get it all done, share all the recipes with us.

I think I was thinking of the figs. You did something with them and had it on or with pork chops.

He's blaming in on the split-tails around here. Says we're working him too hard. All I did was mention that I needed to drop a few pounds and he has cooked up everything sweet and fattening that he can think of.:confused: But all of it has been divine.:)

I worked too late last night, I should say till this morning...really just forgot it was beir garten friday...:smt086 I did go to hawks place twice last weekend, that should account for something.
