Did anyone else get a mailer from Billy Hudson today? I found it curious that he currently serves on the Forrest County Board of Supervisors, but the return address on the mailer is his home in Purvis.

That is simply an addressing/zip code thing. His house is in Forrest County but is closer to Purvis than to Hattiesburg so he is stuck with a Purvis mailing address.

Billy lives in Forrest County and has a Purvis mailing address, nothing out of the ordinary about that. There are folks that live in Perry County, but they have Petal addresses, McLain addresses, Wiggins addresses and Brooklyn addresses.

No, I did not. That is odd. Is he in Forrest County with a Purvis address maybe.

Anyway, I will be staying with Ed Morgan for Senator because Senator Morgan has seniority and has already earned the trust of others up there. I think he has a history of surrounding himself with smart,capable people and knows how to be a regular guy and work with others.

I think having the lay of the land, relationships and being on committees is half the job.

I think Billy Hudson has done a good job of running Hudson's.

There is an area of Forrest co just outside of purvis that has mail service from Purvis. The Beaver lake subdivision crosses into forrest co.

At one time the Hudsons had a huge track of land in this area.

Does the residency issue have anything to do with a kind of odd question posed to Hudson by Ed Morgan at Thursday's forum at Petal High School? Morgan was allowed to ask Hudson a question and chose to ask, "When the election is over, will you let me come fishing in one of your lakes?" Hudson replied, "No," to some laughter, but then explained that the lakes now belonged to his sons, so he could not grant him permission to use them. I didn't understand the question - why Morgan would ask it.

Both men are fully capable but my support will stay with Ed. Doc your right this one's gonna be a close one. At least both actually debated!
