Popular Science had an extensive article on this "stunt" several months back.
He's crazy, yeah, and just what will he prove? I guess living through breaking the sound barrier with just a 'suit' on is his holy grail................. Not mine !!!!
Ah, but he's French :D
At that speed hitting the thicker atmosphere he might become French toast!:evil_fire<O:p</O:p

Seems like at that speed, even the slightest change in the shape of his suit would have a fairly major impact on aerodynamics, so it would be pretty easy for him to end up flopping around like a rag doll as he's falling. :-D I dunno, I'm sure he knows something I don't. I'll take the bet on him being dead when he lands (or hits).

He looks kinda like that "Doe" guy from that purple shroud, pudding cult a while back. Maybe he's just returning from the Hale-Bop comet. :police:

I agree with the aerodynamics issues. At that speed any change in his "attitude" will be disasterous. I hope he will re-think this.
I hope he succeeds. If he does it may be a "win" for the French. They have very few to brag about. I mean, really, the Germans kicked their ass twice just a few years apart.........

I hope they have a camera where he lands, cause one way or another I wanna see it.
Why does this give me visuals of Gallager hitting a watermelon?
He's French. He'll give up when the going gets tough.
