Call School of Music at William Carey. They have great guitar programs, some super students who give lessons.

This is his first lesson and it's free. Learn to read music first. Then venture into lessons. If he can read music (which I can't and I am struggling) then get him some lessons. Plus, buy him an old Metallica CD. If he can play that stuff he will definetly go places.

No he don't read music and yes this would be his first lessons!

hmmm Metallica? I can play them under the porch hahahaha.

And my Son is 32 so he can buy his on Metallica music now!! Just so you know!:)

C&M Music has guitar teachers with private student rooms.

How interesting. I played alto sax in dance band. :-D SoMiss's dad is the Saxman from hell.


And, I god Woodrow, I listened to both of them for hours on end! And yeah, SMTV's Dad was/is a talented dude! Must skip a generation, huh??

In sixth grade, I could play a helluva "Louie, Louie" on the trumpet....then Mr. Burnett encouraged me to play football.....that's why he's the Superintendent now, I guess....he know where people belong....or don't belong....

I use to play the piano and the accordion. Think I'd like to learn the dulcimer too.
