I haven't noticed Exxon's prices being any lower, but maybe that's just me.

I refuse to believe the oil companies are involved in shady practices. I have no doubts they run their company with the best interests of the consumer in the mind.

Well, they obviously don't read the news. Price-fixing is legal.

Ha! This is no surprise. However, it's a gutsy move on the gas companies part. Let's see if anything comes of it though.

CD, I'm wit you..... I mean how could we ever think that the oil companies would ever try to manipulate the market for their own gain. Heck fire, they can hardly get by on the tiny profit they make now.........................

Aww, come on now little campers.... Those CEO's can't support their families without their 7 figure annual bonuses! Being a third generation oilfield hand, I know the political arena of the oil companies all too well... I did turn in a few area managers when I caught them embezzeling on a project that I was working on years ago. They were all fired, but the criminal charges all mysteriously vanished... I was threatened and black-balled and haven't been able to work in that area since. It is a dirty little game they play at the expense of everyone who is not a part of their club! Just ask the Alaskan Senators and Congressmen... What you have heard in the news is not even a fraction of what goes on. The old metal briefcases full of unmarked bills that you see in the Holywood productions didn't start out as fictional happenings... I guess that I had better shut up before I start getting calls again...
