The Wendover, Utah, police chief's wife was arrested during a drug bust at a Nevada nightclub where she works as a stripper named "Ecstasy."

Sylvia Tripp, 39, was booked into the Elko County Jail on suspicion of drug distribution and possessing medication without a prescription, said Craig Ronzone, commander of the Elko County drug task force....

If you've not been to Wendover, it's a sad little place. If you're coming west out of Salt Lake, you have to go through 60 miles of nothingness to get there (salt flats). If you're coming east out of Elko, you go through 100 miles or so of mountains...and nothingness (and gold mines).

It's a hard-scrabble life there.

Fuzzis, when I first saw the title the first thing that came to mind was that you were talking about the HPD interim police chief's wife... Thanks for finding us a funny story to laugh at...

I am happy to see the guys agree that the woman looks rough and not "hot"!

Actually, I was thinking the same thing! The only thing is that would never happen here...it would be swept under the rug...and even if it wasn't for some magic reason...the HA would not print it...it would be found out here first! :)
