Yes, IT IS. I have completed a chemical analysis with a flame-based gastromaticspectrometer and it did turn out to be rain indeed. (and pray for more: here anyways)!!!!

*Jumps up and dances* as the cat is running back and forth from kitchen window to living room window because she is scared. She's freakin out because it's been so long since she's been in thunder and rain and it's like it's new again! YAY FOR RAIN!

Yes! There was a very nice shower here in Petal. It sounded so good to hear the rain hitting the tin roof on our back porch. I went and crawled up in my bed and dozed off. LOL!

By golly, looking at radar from out here, you folks in the 'burg, east Lamar, and east Marion may be in for a treat in the form of liquid sunshine. The thunderboomers don't appear to have much movement, so you may get quite a bit before it rains out or moves on.
I've been told that sitting on the porch in the afternoon heat, you could actually hear the blades of grass crying as they tried to shed enough tears to get a drink..................:smt103 Maybe this will help...........

Don't know exactly how much we got here across from FGH..I had taken up my rain gauge because the tree cutter was "suppose" to come cut down the dead pine tree and I didn't want the limbs to fall and break the gauge..when it started with all the thunder and lightening, I cut off the computer and the tv and got BooBoo and lay down across the bed to rest...three hours later we awoke and the sun was out. (I think I partied to hearty last nite!) :) Getting old is hell! Whatever rain we did get, I am thankful for though...maybe we will luck up with more the next few days!
