Does anyone have any information on Dr. McCall (office is @ 415 S. 28th)? I was thinking about going to him (if they'll take my crappy insurance), but I know absolutely nothing about him. Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

An endocrinologist---got any other suggestions? A search of my insurance approved providers resulted in 0 results, but I found Dr. McCall using a physician search engine I found on Google.

415 S 28th ave is the main address for Hattiesburg Clinic. The endocrinology dept is actually located at at 5909 Hwy 49 by Walmart. I have been seeing Dr Galloway at Hattiesburg Clinic for ten years now. Hattiesburg Clinic has the only endocrinologists in town. I believe they have 3. The number to the endocrinology dept is 601-296-2780.

Has anyone on here had treatment for overactive thyroid (Graves Disease)? Has anyone ever heard of Thyroid Arterial Embolization (http://thyroid.about.com/library/news/blembol.htm) or a doctor who performs this treatment?

Of the roughly 15 million North Americans with a thyroid problem, about 3 million are men, so it's not just a girl thing. :smt105

I use McCall. He's good, very thorough and doesn't mind listening to you and answering questions... That is a definite plus cause that is one of the main reasons I quit going to the Petal Clinic cause there is a Dr. there or two that will just as soon prescribe pills to you than look at you and never can answer questions or listen to you and make it seem that you are wasting their time. They will just as soon let you die as treat you.

My daughter uses Dr. Powell at the above mentioned clinic by Walmart. He is good and well liked.
