I am a firm believer that what goes around, comes around, this proves it to me yet once again.
I've said it before, inmates that have abused or killed women or children are the lowest of the low in prison and will be attacked by any other convict any chance they get. He got what he deserved.

Yep, I agree...at least the tax payers won't have to continue to put $$ out for his upkeep either!

I actually know the people involved. The vet was his wife, not one of the victims. She's had a very tough time since all of this.
Hargon was so deep in drugs.

Wow. I remember covering this when i was still in Hattiesburg (SirMickey was there, too). It was probably one of the worse stories I ever covered. So sad.

I thought that either the man or the woman that was murdered was the vet...that is what I understood from the news

Nah, Maggie, the vet was his wife. She had no idea but he drung her into it. She had actually separtated from him and had begun filing for divorce when all of this happened.
Such a quiet guy normally ...
It's common to think this way but I'm curious as to what actually happened to him.

That was some tax money saved.
Did you see the info about the inmate who stabbed him? He has something like 64 violent offenses since being in prison, including three attacks on corrections officers. What was this guy doing out? And why can't they keep these prisoners from having weapons?

Most jails and prisons do searches on a regular basis for shanks. They are easy enuf to make from stuff you would never think of as a weapon...ex. plastic spoons or forks, combs, hairbrushes, toothbrushes...they are small and can be easily hid.
You would have thought the inmate that did the stabbing would be in solitary confinement...he may end up getting his too before it is over with.
