I really think some thanks are in order to WDAM's election coverage. As far as I know, the HA didn't provide up-to-the-minute election results, and WDAM had election results up as soon as they got them. They made a good effort to get the news out as soon as possible. I have no idea why constable's weren't included, but I still thank them for their effort in both elections.

Yeah they must have a helluva engineer there being able to get all that stuff posted on the web and that little thingie at the bottom of the screen... I know if I had like 20 counties sending in information on all the different races I would have a breakdown and need more tequila... Well, I need more tequila anyway but that is beside the point... I can see how an error could occur every now and then... Thanks W-damn...

I agree, as aggraviated as we get with WDAM, on a whole they do a good job...but like with everything else there is always room from improvment. Perhaps they will learn from their mistakes. THANKS GUYS!

Although they did not have the constable information early on, I did see Randy give the results before going on to other programming. Maybe they think most folks are more interested in the bigger races...perhaps they will make changes for the Nov. election. We all know it has to be a "madhouse" at the station during the election times.

Yeah, even though it is their JOB and PURPOSE to report election news. Nonetheless, if anything, I would hope a hearty "thank you" would encourage more good work in the future.

they announced it last night. didn't put up a graphic or anything...somebody handed randy some paper with it on it and he said "oh by the way..." don't know if they did it this morning.

I said this last night: the best part was showing the returns against old Saturday Night re-runs. Those old shows were actually funny. Are you saying the blue runner at the bottom of the screen wasn't always right? wow. who noticed? Strategic perfection on their part...
