Southern Miss Vs UT Martin Saturday 6:00 at the ROCK

UT Martin finshed 9-3 last year and the head coach is from the Pine Belt area it should be a good game with a big crowd see ya at the ROCK..

No East Tennessee State is in Johnson city Tennessee. I almost went there.

UT Martin has been around a long time. Dfus, you remember Robbie Smith? He went to Mississippi State his freshman year and played ball with Ed "Tex" Hudgins and Mickey Edwards. Robbie transferred after that year to UT-Martin "Branch" and played there. I think he even graduated from there.

I don't think this one will be televised. I know the road trip to Tennessee the following week is on pay per view, but there's not much interest in USM vs UT-Martin outside folks with ties to the schools sadly.

That being said....Go Eagles!!!! :clap:

It sure looks like a low turnout way under 30,000 so far. Caliente opened up by the way I'm going there after to game.

Right now, USM is going the way of Michigan. UT Martin up 6-0. The OL sucks and the D has been poor.

um.. 35-13 USM wins. If the fans would actually stay past halftime they would know how the game turns out...


and people wonder why we can't fill the stadium.

overall turnout just over 29k.

Oh.. and the $4million scoreboard looks nice, sounds better, but still has a few bugs in it..

I had heard somewhere between $3-4million.

This article says projected $2.7mil.
