According to the HA, FCAHS superintendent Kyle Nobles is going to be leaving the school at the end of this school year. The blurb tonight does not say what he will be doing, it sort of sounds like he does not have another job lined up. Anyone know why he is leaving? I used to work with Kyle and he is a nice guy.

There was a special board meeting held this week. I don't know all of the items on the agenda, but one concerned the belief that the school's agricultural program was not being supported by the administration.
Mr. Nobles' resignation letter made reference to "events of the week" as the factor of his decision to resign. That means: something that occured at the board meeting.
I'm sure more will come through the grapevine soon enough.

It comes a time in everyones professional career that they feel there needs to be a change, whether it's for contraversial reasons or personal reasons. He has been looking for several years to move up in the field of superintendents, all the while doing a great job at AHS. The recent events are related to pressure change things he does not agree with that was mandated by the board such as changing the master schedule, lack of students in all vocational classes, and to some extent the loss of many teachers over the past couple of years, and a board that will not support him at this point.

I think he will go on to a bigger school as principal or to a superintendent position in a larger system. He will be successful wherever he goes. Best wishes to him.
