I was just wondering if any other folks out there are having to deal with Home Cable Entertainment. I've noticed the announcement about Comcasts's contract, but I don't know about other local cable companies. I was just wondering if there is anything that we can do about the bad service that we receive. Do they have a contract date also? Is it the same as Comcast"s Their service really stinks.

I have a question for some of you folks that are more knowledgeable than I am....
Can the Public Service Commission do anything about terrible to almost nonexistant cable service? I have TRIED and TRIED calling my cable service and still do not have watchable cable. The person that mans the office and the phones comes in around 9:00 to 10:00 He leaves for lunch at 11. He comes back in around 2:00 and probably leaves around 4:00. I called every day for a while, but gave up when I kept getting the same runaround.
Boy, would I love to be able to get some decent cable, even if I had to pay more. I tried sattelite and didn't like it as I couldn't get local channels. At this point, I'm stuck paying for cable and can only get WDAM, that I rarely watch.....Any ideas about how to improve the situation out there?

You may be out of luck as far as that is concerned. If comcast doesn't service your area, then satellite with a pair of rabbit ears is the only other option I can see. I have comcast in Petal and a friend of ours lives out towards macedonia and can't get comcast, they have Galaxy cable and I've heard horror stories about them.

Oh shucks, I thought SOMEONE might be able to answer my questions....Anyhow, I'm on a mission now...Comcast is so close that one of their Mexican workers disconnected our service to Home Cable even though we cannot get Comcast...I think tomorrow I will try the Public Service Commission and see if I can get anywhere.
