There's a typo on the TCU/Texas game. I don't like to assume, but I take it, if you bet on TCU to win, you'll actually be doing that, and not betting on TCU to beeat themselves? :smt102

Typo fixed :)

ya bet both sides of the same game, old Pard. Just wonder if'n you wuz hedging yo bet? And, I b picking on you a little. :-D

Only reason I bet "on" Ole Miss' side was to waste some hub bucks I earned by mistake! I would not bet on Ole Miss if they were playing Iraq....

Augustus McRae

Well Augustus, you're not doing a very guut job of it. The worst you can do with dat bet is lose $87 hubbucks.

Little known trivia fact about USF I learned last night ~ It has the 9th largest student enrollment in the country (over 45,000 students).

What we sometimes think as being little community colleges are far from it. This prolly wear and tears on the butts of the big SEC and other filty rich divisions.

That was a good game but I thot the USF coach had lost it when he didn't go for the win on 4th down, very near the goal line with seconds left on the clock. I think the team and fans were about ready to kick his ass, too. If he hadn't would won, the FHP would have had their hands full trying to protect him.

Same token, I bet they're talking trash about the Auburn coach today for sitting on the clock for OT play.

On the lighter side, Spurrier was a trip to watch on the Gamecock sidelines, as usual. He don't hide his emotions wurf a damn, and love it.

A lot of the best football schools in the country are small in comparison. University of Houston is shooting for 65,000 students in the next 5 years. Number of students really has nothing to do with your football team, it really has to do with recruitment. That's one argument that I keep hearing about USM that is just wrong. We're a small school, so we aren't going to get very far. It doesn't work like high schools at the college level. We're bigger than many in the top 25.
