Yea we are gonna save a ton of money on taxes. If your property value is $100,000 you will save $1.40 on your property tax. Hey if you have a $300,000 home you may save enough to buy a hamburger.

the petal mayor scott has raised the taxes every year in office. I think 08 will be his last year in office.
I thought when y'all were voting him in that you considered him to be the best thing since Ketchup?

i didn't vote fer him
he came by when we just moved in our house out asking for votes from door to door and when i saw him my first thought was I think he used to be our garbage man at one time....
He has done allot of good for the city but I think he has spent too much $$ at the taxpayers expense.
I could go on and on...

Sometimes to "do alot of good" for a city, the administration has to spend "alot" of money....most especially when previous admins didn't spend any money or very little on repairs to the citys infastructure. I don't mind the spending so much IF I can see thatit was put to good use for streets, sewers etc. instead of some b.s. pet project that doesn't amount to a hill of beans!
