I want to thank the person's responsible for cleaning up under the Glendale bridge on the Bouie River. I am pretty sure It was the County since that side of the bridge where the boat launch is located is in the county.

Now, if we could only get the lazy butts who use the place to fish and boat to take their trash with them when they leave, but that's a whole nuther' story in itself.

Thanks for cleaning up!:smt023

I use to love to fish down there but last time I went some Game Wardens warned me of all the Crack deals that go on there now! I hadn't been there since the early 90
s fishbait but is it still unsafe?

kevin, maybe if we all start fishing and boating around there again we can run the crack dealers out of there! I am sick of them running us out of places!

Thanks, to whoever cleaned the place up!

I hear you Baloo! I had some really great times there years ago and would love to get the Criminal Element the heck out! Just seems everyone has given up on what few really nice places we had to fish and hunt.

kevin, you really need to make it to Alaska one of these days... I am positive that you can still find lakes and streams that no one has ever fished in and the thugs are too lazy to trash all of our spots up here! I hear ya though, the places where I learned to swim and sein for minnows and run trot lines they have kicked everyone out of because of the people who go in and trash the place! I guess that I will just have to buy a place with my own fishin hole or better yet, we all plan big get togethers and have No-Halo stop by in the patrol car and the thugs will scatter like the cockroaches that they are!

Ya know it is a damn shame when someone has to "thank" someone for cleaning up a place. It should be a given that if you mess it up, you clean it up! That is what I have always taught my son and all my scouts when I was a scout leader.

I know a whole bunch of little boys who would get so po'ed because when we would go camping etc. when we would get ready to leave I would hand them a bag and a plastic glove and tell them to get stretch out single file, finger tip to finger tip and pick up whatever trash was in the area we had been in. Some never understood "why" they had to pick up stuff that we didn't even put down in the first place. I told them it was part of being a "good citizen" and that was what God wanted us to do....he made the place beautiful and expected US to help keep it that way...I would venture to say 99% of the kids finally got the lesson and would automatically clean up without being told to! :) Many a times they would get so enthused we would "police" other areas around us too.

I have only ran a handful of idiots off from down there. Occasionaly you will see some of the by-pass hoes down there turnin' tricks. I just make an ass out of em'. Start blowin' the horn and shit. Prolly in the 12 or so years I have been fishin' boatin' down there. I only saw incidents like that maybe 4 times. You can park now where you can fish and still see your vehicle. The more good folks that go down there though, the more likely the idiots will find somewhere else to hang out.
