One of my all time favorites is Turkey Creek Water Park, located in Decatur, Mississippi. It is a small park, but the cabins are very nice and secluded and are all located on a hill overlooking the lake. It is a perfect place to get away for the weekend. Outta give it a try. I think the cabins rent for round 75 bucks a night. Aight then.

It is a good couple of hours...Decatur is between Jackson and Meridian. Check of the link above, as the PHWD has several water parks -- including a couple very close to Hattiesbug.

Haven't been to a lot of MS State/Water Parks. Camped at Mayor Creek in the spring, and it was OK. I'm thinking about going up to Percy Quinn next weekend. Maybe.

Turkey fork over at Sandhill ain't too bad. It's adjacent to a Wildlife Management Area, so you can hunt, camp, fish, all at once.

I should also note there are other state parks that are not part of the PHWD that also have camping and lodging facilities ( i.e. Paul B Johnson)

Here is the website for Mississippi State Parks, including a link to the PHWD.
