Well, thankfully, the ramp was cleared of sand......however, with no bulkhead, the sand is going back again.....enough about that let's get to fishing!
Had a guest in the boat with me today. We started off in the back end of the lake throwing topwater baits at bass running the schooling shad and picked up 6 fish. One of the fish was 4 lb. 10 oz. Unfortunately, the fish had swallowed the Sebile Bonga Minnow deep, injuring it's gills so I harvested the girl. When the sun came up, the topwater bite shut down.......moved to the dam and started fancasting flatshads to no avail. Switched to small finese worms and ran back to a pier, picked up one fish then called it a morning, having spent two and a half hours on the lake.....that's the report 7 fish. Best five weighed 12.76.
