The last fishing report for about 10 days....

Well, I'll be heading back into the gulf first thing in the morning so this will be the last report for bout a week and a half.

Went to the Ski Lake again to try to repeat yesterdays pattern. I was successful, boating 9 decent (1.5 to 2 lb) fish. Same game, Dogwalking bait called the Sebile Bonga Minnow, 72mm. All the fish came of this bait today, as it was the rod I took out of the box.

Y'all keep yer powder dry, and your lines tight! Can't wait to get back to fish some more!

You were listening huh Cap????? Yeah, they needed somebody to help fill 14 minutes so they called me. I can fill 14 minutes standing on my head in a bucket of dung. Did you hear me drop one in the livewell, then catch another?

You know I told ya'll I was gonna go fishin' in the rain today just for the helluvit. I did. I was rewarded. I was fishin' in a 50 year old mud hole. After two small ones on the finesse shad I picked up the ultra light that had some weird ass beetle/fly spinner on it from the mountain trip I took awhile back and ended up catchin' about a 6 lbder'....I ain't lyin'. I was shocked. Long fish though. Prolly shoulda' weighed about 8. I think I am gonna transplant some of them to my pond to eat all the mudcats out of it. Wild day today...

LOL.....you picked up on that huh? Well I know in radio how it is to be on the otherside of the mike and your guest quits talking to focus on something else......it's not easy on the host like that. So I just keep on a ramblin while I'm fishin.

I have bream fished at a friends house, I am a former bass tournment fisherman, Kinda quit that when kids come along , I lost that competitve drive, But kids almost grown , Been thinking about again ,Really been thinking about redfish tournment, I also do something most people dont, We bowfish for reds and sheephead ,flounder in airboat

Well Well.......looks like a short hitch for me......I'll be home on Saturday evening cause we don't fly on Sundays and I have two day meeting on Mon - Tue. That means there will be a Sunday fishing report next week!
